Hello, I'm Tasseer Badri! 👋🏻
I've been a resident of Japan since 2007, but I grew up in the United States, and I've spent a lot of time all over the world! I'm multilingual and multicultural, and my work, both in the capacity of a photographer and entrepreneur, has provided me with remarkable experiences for which I'm grateful. I've had the privilege of completing over 2,800 photo sessions over the years. As one can imagine, I deeply enjoy the art of photography, but you may be surprised to learn that my motivation behind my photography work isn't photography itself but rather the pursuit of immortalizing moments, emotions, and stories that would otherwise vanish in time. I consider myself a visual poet, a master of capturing emotions, and a guardian of memories that enable others to relive their most cherished experiences.
Ultimately, the pursuit of professional photography is, in many ways, an unending quest for personal growth, both as an artist and as a human being. More to that point, these days, when I'm not out doing a photo session, I'm studying as part of the Master of Professional Studies in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems Program (MPS-RESS) at The Pennsylvania State University World Campus (online) - for which I am honored to have been accepted into such a prestigious program. This is my 'next' phase of interest that I have grown into, motivated by just how profound of an impact the world of energy has on our daily lives. The sustainability of that energy is something I want to be part of. While I continue my graduate studies, I'm still committed to capturing the magic of life in all its forms and sharing it with my clients through the lens of my camera. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me here, and I look forward to meeting you soon.
